I found 3 different vintage Japanese year of the rat postcards in my large image collection and used them to make these cards. I usually alter found images, but these were so cool I couldn't improve on them. :)

Happy New Year / Japanese style
I participated in a swap (on swap-bot) of nengajo postcards. Japanese folks send New Years cards instead of Christmas ones. The post office there has special mail boxes for these and delivers them on New Years day!
