Pimp My Card

I am starting to upload a large collection of modified postcards on my new Tumblr blog.
These are one-of-a-kind pieces I did over the last few years and mailed out to folks everywhere. I wasn't meticulous about scanning everything, but I did manage to document 600 of them.

Recycling mail-art into ATCs

Yesterday I went through mail-art sent to me and selected 50 pieces to build Artist Trading Cards on. This is the label I designed for the back of the cards.

Stay tuned for the results. I will be creating them at our local live ATC session on November 1st.

My source material for these new stickers was images posted by some of my flickr friends. I also did one featuring Dame Mailarta.

See-through postcards using art from the PUNK era

I made a series of laminated postcards using 30 year old Color Xerox prints that were originally for buttons. These are from the PUNK era. I am mailing them out to some friends on the International Union of Mail-Artists.

baby wacky ATCs

I made a bunch of ATCs at our Victoria live swap yesterday. They incorporated very old pictures of me and my wife Virginia.

She got first pick!

Sneak Preview of Wacky's new project

I am setting up a photography studio in my basement to document my extensive collection of character toys. They have been hiding in boxes for years and now want to be seen. Through the wonders of the internet, I'll be able to share them with you.
