Stickers

I just spent the big bucks for 1000 sheets of high gloss sticker paper to use with my Epson inkjet printer. I'm producing tons of stickers from new and old wackystuff.

I'm not slapping these stickers on walls and telephone poles. Besides sticking them on my mail-art, I'm using them as design elements on postcards and Artist Trading Cards.

Who says you can't slap a sticker on a piece of cardboard and call it an ATC?

more postcards modified with wacky stickers

I slapped some of my new wacky stickers
on top of advertising cards, improving them IMHO.

mail-art heading out

I sent this digitally collaged postcard to a Beatles or not Beatles? mail-art call in France. With all the hoopla about Michael Jackson lately, John Lennon was way more important to me.

I sent this inkjet printed postcard to the 2009 T.A.R.O.T. Project. I forgot to scan the address side. This call asks for the stamps and address to be on the illustrated side of your creation.
I made the front and back the same, partially covering the art with my labels and stamps.

Metaphysical Graffiti

I designed a set of 1200 different cards for a project I called Metaphysical Graffiti in 2005 and 2006. Each 2.375 inch x 3.375 inch card used a found image on the front and a found phrase on the back. They were printed in small editions and given away. This was before I was making Artist Trading Cards.

I have just begun uploading scans of these cards
onto my flickr account.

to Ryosuke Cohen in Japan

This is the first piece in a new series of handmade cards I am creating. It is collaged onto an old book cover and is approximately 6 x 9 inches.

I am sending it to Ryosuke Cohen. He very generously sent me a large run of his Brain Cell publication. This is his long running project, which I encourage all mail-artists to contribute to.

Today is ATC day in Victoria

The top pair of Artist Trading Cards
were made for a swap-bot Torn Paper swap.

The bottom pair were made for our

Postcards to myself

I was so clueless in 1981 that I sent these 3 pieces of cut-up packages to myself. It seemed radical at the time.
Now I send my mail-art to other people!

Yellowed with Age

I laminated some crumbling matchbox label album pages
to create one-of-a-kind over-sized postcards.

Arriving from the UK

This graphic collage was sent by Bendigo. I love how the FDR stamps appear to be blown away by the woman's shout.

Let's talk about MONEY

I created a sheet of stamps to use in my M O N E Y mail-art call.

I created some unusual postcards by mounting the artistamps on pages from my childhood stamp album. Any correlation with the text is purely coincidental.
